So, I used to be a partner. I understand that working at Starbucks can be a drag, and I've dealt with all sorts of rushes. But this is seriously the most apathetic Starbucks I've ever been to. I went in before work one morning when the weather was rainy. I knew that meant the store was sure to busy, as everyone suddenly needs coffee when the weather turns cold, but the place was slow. The tables were pretty full and there was one family in line ahead of me. No big deal, right? I figured I'd get a drink and a pastry, which is not something I usually splurge on but I was in the mood. The lady ahead of me way paying with 1,000 gift cards and I know that is a pain to deal with, but I wasn't really in a rush. A second barista came to the other POS and took my order, which initially made me happy but he was not great. He didn't seem like he really wanted to help me, and he gave me my total before I could even ask for a pastry. I didn't want it badly enough to ask him to re-ring the transaction, but he totally missed out on an up-sale there. As for the girl on bar? She was over it as well. Called out drinks like she wanted to be anywhere but work. She went through the motions and told me to have a nice day, but it didn't feel genuine. Maybe I come into Starbucks with too high of expectations because I was a partner, but this is just a strange store. And this isn't the first time I've felt this way about this location. There is no energy here and I would so much rather go to other stores that are less convenient to me where the baristas are friendlier. I mean, I'm dropping $6 on a drink, I know the job can be a drag, but at least act like you're trying.

This is a great Starbucks, fast service, and friendly baristas. The parking lot is an abomination though. People will do anything for their Starbucks, including park like jerks and even park you in. But if you can show up when there is a parking spot, it's a great drink!

This Starbucks was recently torn down as the city is revamping this SW corner of 38th and Kipling. Apparently, they are going to be building a new drive-through Starbucks with a larger patio in the coming months. Can't wait!

I dropped in to get a frap. This has got to be the first Starbucks I have ever been to where the service was way less than par. Where one gal behind the counter actually gave me an eyeroll when I apologetically explained I'd like my vanilla iced coffee with cream. I guess I'd get it if there was a line out the door, but I was the only customer right then. I tell ya, Starbucks is already pushing the envelope with the prices they charge and the causes they support, but I have come to expect excellent customer service at least.

Uninspired cup of joe. First off - I will generally make my own coffee - because I can't find a place to get it right. But then again, I use an odd contraption to extract the deep, flavorful liquid from the bean. I had a gift card to use from Starbucks, so I thought I would give it a swipe and have a free joe. It wasn't worth the walk from my car. Service was fast and friendly, which is why I gave it two stars. But considering coffee is what Starbucks is known for, world around, I could barely taste the coffee in my coffee. I may be different from other consumers of this celebrated beverage - I want it to hit me in the face when I take a sip. This just sat on my tongue, my palate still waiting for anything to resemble coffee. I may be out of practice - perhaps I should have ordered a triple or quadruple shot. Maybe Starbucks could take a boondoggle to Italy, any small cafe, and relearn what it is to make a good, memorable cup of coffee.

Usually Starbucks is Starbucks but I have to say this was definitely the slowest of the locations that I've been to. I ordered an iced tea at the drive through and it took nearly 10 minutes for them to serve the car in front of me two drinks and then finish my order.

Low volume location, staff is ok on most days. The outside has seen better days, but it is my coffee stop on the way to work.

Not a very good Starbucks by normal Starbucks standards. Overall a bad experience - coffee was bad, service was bad, and the atmosphere wasn't quite as cozy as most of the Starbucks I frequest. I'll go across the street to another one next time I'm in the area.

Less than a mile from my home and I've found a low calorie coffee from them. Caramel Machiato FTW!

This is the absolute best Starbucks I've ever been to. It's become my way-too-frequent morning stop. The baristas here are awesome! The regular weekday crew is quick and efficient. They know all the regulars by name and drink order. They're always friendly and cheerful. They also make some mean coffee. We all know, not all Starbucks are created equal, despite their best attempts. This crew has got their shit together and just makes good coffee and frufru coffee drinks. So if you're reading this, Starbucks corporate, give these ladies (and the occasional gent) a raise and a pat on the back. They deserve it!

I wish I could do less than one star. This place made me not want to go to a Starbucks ever again and I haven't since. I have never written a yelp before but this was so horrible I had to. Usually I just get over it and try to be understanding. I know that at 8:30 in the morning it's busy. I waited for 15 minutes in the drive through, finally get to the window, they scan my phone app that had $13.79 on it, and hand me a pastry I did not order. Everything is fine I just tell them it's not mine, and then I tell them I just ordered a venti iced dirty chai. So she scans my card again... And again? & somehow I owe 3 dollars??? Did I pay for 3 people's coffee? The lady gets flustered and asks someone else to talk to me, another woman comes out and says it's the apps fault and I will need to call customer service, AND STILL PAY FOR ANOTHER DRINK!!!! I said whatever and got my money out. Then they hand me a hot Venti iced chai. By then I've been in the drive thru probably 30 minutes. I have gotten late for an appointment so I just left the drinks and decided to call customer service later that day after my appointment. When I finally call customer service they take 45 minutes at least to figure out what they are doing!!! & didn't even refund me the full amount!!! So I just paid 4 dollars to that Starbucks for no coffee, and wasting tons of my time. I wish it would have at least been put towards paying the tab for the person behind me bit I doubt that if they didn't even offer me a free drink for stealing all my money and wasting tons of my time they definitely didn't do that when I drove away. I know no one will read this or care because it's Starbucks, everyone needs coffee, big corporation. But its so big you could offer a free drink for screwing up so much. I've been offered free drinks before from many other Starbucks for them mixing the wrong drink... Well at least they offer me the mess up and my correct drink. I just can't believe they asked me to pay after taking almost 15 dollars for nothing!! Sorry. Never going to that Starbucks again. I'll invest in a keurig.
